Series 5 Companion Announced!
21 Year old Karen Gillan has become Matt Smith's new companion. She has already been in Doctor Who as a Soothsayer in Fires of Pompeii. "I am absolutely over the moon at being chosen to play the Doctor's new companion. - I just can't wait to get started," she said. "The show is such a massive phenomenon that I can't quite believe I am going to be a part of it.
"Matt Smith is an incredible actor and it is going to be so much fun to act alongside him," she added.

Doctor Who Movie Update
The script is in its second draft at the moment. It Features The Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Rose Tyler (Billie Piper). It will be a missing adventure set during Series Two. It is set to be filmed in 2010 and released in 2011.

Doctor Who The Movie: Confirmed!
Lizo Mzimba has confirmed that a Doctor Who Movie is happening.
He also added
BBC Films have confirmed a Dr Who film script is in development. But IF it does go into full production that's likely to be some time away.

The BBC Have released a press release today about the Third series of Sarah Jane Adventures. As well as confirming the Doctor's Appearance there was some brand new information.

The series includes 12 weeks of brand new adventures featuring a new alien race, the reptilian Veil and their enemies the Judoon, alongside an extraterrestrial girl that can make people play games against their will.
There will also be a living painting, the inhabitants of a supposedly haunted house, monsters who want to infect Earth with a strangely aggressive weed and a chance for Sarah Jane to find personal happiness with someone who could be the perfect person to complete her family.

Doctor Who Magazine 409: News
David Tennant has been confirmed to be in the Third Series of SJA from Doctor Who Magazine. 'It's more than just a cameo from the Tenth Doctor! He's a proper part of the story' says the Writer. He adds that the story will be 'extraordinary, wild and powerfully moving' and 'let's just say that the wedding of Sarah Jane will be a day for everyone to remember!'
The Story will be airing in the Autumn!
Also, the Animated story 'Dreamland' has been confirmed. David Tennant will be in it as The Doctor, Geogia Moffett as Cassie Rice, Lisa Bowerman and David Warner. The writer of the episode will be Phil Ford who has worked on Doctor Who, SJA and Torchwood. It will air in the Autumn as seven episode lasting around six minutes each.
And finaly RTD has hinted at a secret project in the works. 'it would be nice to round things off with a Special Project 3... I can promise, it's worth waiting for!"' Could this be the movie?

Patrick Troughton's final story The War Games is set to be released on the 6th July on a 3 disc DVD set.
The Black Guardian containing Mawdryn Undead, Terminus and Enlightenment is set for release on the 10th August
The Keys Of Marinus is set for a release on September 21st
